Last day, Red FM RJ Anjali introduced an extraordinary personality, SI Sampath. Sampath works as a Sub Inspector of Police at Trivandrum Vizhinjam Station. He is extensively known for his strictness and artistic ability.
It was just a day before, a lady lost her 40 gram gold chain when she was dropping her child to the school bus. The thief fled through a narrow street. According to the lady, the chain was well hidden around her neck by the shawl, making it practically impossible to find. The police assumed from this that the thief must be someone who is familiar with her well and has observed her accompanying her child to the school bus and wearing the chain regularly. Police obtained the cell phone numbers of the thieves from previous records and contacted each of them; one of the numbers had been switched off. This raised suspicions about the individual, and the police went to his residence and discovered that his wife remained there till 4 o’clock and then left in a hurry without even locking the door. Police searched the premises and discovered a paper slip including some mobile numbers mentioning some places. The thief had switched off his cellphone, but his wife had not. This made it easier for the police to find them. Police arrested the thief and discovered that the locket was kept on loan by the thief and the chain was with him. The prompt action of the police helped the woman in getting back her chain.
Sub Inspector Sampath is not only an expert investigation officer, but also a skilled singer and a lawyer. Sampath had always desired to be a police officer, therefore he majored in law to become more proficient in the law. He is a fantastic vocalist and drummer.
