Actor Unni Mukundan commented that the real problem is not the movie reviewing, but the personal attacking in the name of reviewing and the words used . He was speaking in the Red Carpet interview with R J Vivek for Red FM Malayalam.
Vishnu Sasi Shankar’s first directorial film ‘Malikappuram’ starring Unni Mukundan is getting good response in the theatres.
Unni Mukundan said in the interview that even aged people who stood away from theatres for over 20 years came to the theaters for Malikappuram.
‘I see Malikappuram as a great blessing for me as an actor. The controversies that took place at Sabarimala were really painful, but this is not what is shown in the film says.’- he says.
He also added that while making a film about the power that people believe in, the audience should not get disappointed was his fear. And at the same time faith that Ayyappan is with him was his courage.
Malikappuram has become one of the best films in his career. The film is making progress with a box office collection of over 40 crores in just three weeks.
